Nozzles
Cutting nozzles for Raytools laser heads, in single and double designs and across the usual range of bore diameters.
The nozzle does not cut: it shapes the assist gas that clears the molten material out of the kerf. That is why the bore diameter has to match the material thickness and the gas you use. A bore that is too wide wastes gas and leaves dross; too narrow and the gas column becomes unstable.
Nozzle condition matters as much as its size. A nozzle with spatter around the bore, or one that has been knocked out of round, will deflect the gas off-axis and the cut will go out of square even though the machine settings have not changed. They are cheap, and keeping a few spare sizes on the machine is standard practice.
